Easter Egg Hunt
On Sunday, April 9th, Council 2852 held it's Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Memorial Park in New Hyde Park. Almost 150 people attended this event. Much thanks to Joe and Carol Renta, Saverio Grasso and Doug Aidalia for there work to make this such a success.

Membership Blitz Holy Spirit
Weekend of March 25 / 26 Council 2852 held a Membership Blitz at Holy Spirit Church. Saverio Grosso spoke at the 9:30 and 11 AM Mass. He presented Father Tony with a copy of the Father McGivney Autobiography, Parish Priest, during mass as a token of Council 2852's appreciation for Father Tony's continued support of our Council and being our Chaplain.

BasketBall Clinic
On Thursday Nights at Manor Oaks School, Joe Abberton, Saverio Grosso and Megan O'Connor donate their time to conduct basketball clinics. These clinics are for "Special Olympic" boys and girls who learn how to play basketball from these volunteers.

St. Patrick's Day Dance
On March 11th Council 2852 held it's annual St. Patrick's Day Dance. Entertainment was provided by DJ John of Funtime Music & Video, Wantagh American Legion Bagpipe Band and Inishfree Step Dancers. Catering was provided by Mastrantonio Caterers.

Communion Mass and Supper
On February 18th Council Members attended Mass with Father Tony and the Pope John XXIII Honor Guard. After mass there was a Dinner Dance at the Coucil Hall.

Right To Life Mass
On January 22, 2006 Council 2852 members participated in the Right To Life Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral with the Mass presided over by Cardinal Egan. Fourth Degree Honor Guard also particpated. After Mass there was a brunch at the Council Hall.

Open Meeting Jo Seta Dancing
At the Open Meeting on January 24, 2006, Jo Seta presented Dance Lessons for Council Members. She showed how to do the Italian Lindy, the Alabama and Boot Scootin' Boogie.
